Sometimes a person must make a single decision that will forever alter their life. The career of musician Jad Kantari is an excellent illustration of this. Kantari travelled to the United States from his home country of Lebanon in order to pursue his dreams. He had hoped to attend the University of Southern California to study civil engineering. But it wasn’t long before he realised that he really wanted to be a musician.
Jad has been listening to many types of music and performers from all over the world since he was a kid. He discovered his passion for music at a young age and taught himself to play various instruments. Jad used to have jamming sessions with his college pals when he was younger. That’s how he gained the confidence to pursue a career in music.
Jad Kantari expresses, “Music has always been a big part of my life since I was a kid. My parents are huge fans of the ars and would frequently encourage me to listen to our folk tunes. However, as I grew older, I realised that music transcends boundaries and languages. Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobain, and even Michael Jackson made me fall in love with music all over again. They created tunes for every mood, and many people can connect to and enjoy them. That’s the kind of music I want to deliver to people.”
Jad Kantari now has a Spotify channel where fans may listen to his hit songs. Easy, 4th Dimension, New School, Fantasy, and Stars are some of the artist’s songs that music fans will enjoy. In December, the singer-songwriter intends to release more new music. He already has some intriguing projects in the works for early 2022, including an album.
